The Aran Islands are located right in the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way and are off the coast of Galway and Clare. The Aran Islands consists of three small islands – Inis Mor (the biggest island of the three), Inis Meain and Inis Oirr. You can reach the island by ferry and choose to take the ferry in Rossaveal (a port near Connemara and Galway) or take the ferry in Doolin which is close to the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare and about a 45 minute drive from Treacys West County Hotel in Ennis. There is also a small flight service to the islands but most people visit the Aran Islands via ferry.
There is so much to do on the Aran Islands such as check out prehistoric monuments, the cliffs, the stone walls and small fields, the wormhole (location for Red Bull Cliff Diving), watch seals on Inis Mor, visit Kilronan village and spend an afternoon on the beaches of Inis Mor as well as many other sights and activities.
You can plan a trip to the Aran Islands by visiting their official site.

‘Well Located, Good Value’
“I travelled here with the wife and kids (6,4,1) for a family break. The family room had a double, 2 singles and a cot. Swimming Pool was free and had great area for kids. Well located for Limerick and beautiful Clare as well as the Aran Islands.”
