Since reopening on July 10th following national Covid 19 lockdown, we have been busy adapting operations in a challenging Public Health Environment. The health and safety of our guests and staff are of highest importance and we have adapted our previous procedures with renewed focus on reducing the risks of spreading Covid19.
Some of the measures we have implemented and continue to refine are as follows:
- Failte Ireland approved Covid 19 ‘Safety Charter’ procedures and training completed
- Use of “Table Pay” for ordering and serving of Food and Beverages
- Staff temperature taken prior to each shift to ensure no COVID-19 symptoms
- Staff wearing face coverings and PPE for your additional safety
- Re-organisation of restaurants for mealtimes and of public areas to facilitate social distancing
- Staff hand washing protocol increased; staff will wash their hands thoroughly at least once every 30minutes
- Increase in disinfecting public area’s especially on highly touched surfaces like door handles
- Sanitised room on arrival and sealed with Treacys Group ‘Seal of Approval’
- Protective screens in high footfall areas where Face to Face would previously have been the norm.
- Enhanced protocol for sanitisation of tables between guests
- Table layouts in restaurant, Boru’s Bar and Cafe West separated to maintain social distancing
Our procedures are subject to continual review and updated with Industry advice, customer feedback and improved work practices to ensure they are robust and flexible to enable us to play our part in achieving ZeroCovid as soon as possible.
